We would like to respond the Letter Editor regarding published article “Update of EAU/ESPU guidelines on urinary tract infections in children.” have read letter and concluded that indeed study “Association renal scarring with number febrile children” (Shaik N et al. JAMA Pediatr. 2019; 173 (10):949–952)” has been incorrectly cited. truly regret this happened. The is a summary EAU during shortening text it seems last part cited sentence accidently deleted. Unfortunately, causes different conclusion. think data presented paper by Shaik clinically high importance should be correctly. propose following corrigendum. Content correction: Before: Febrile UTIs associated each new UTI increases risk 2.8% (CI 1.2–5.8) [10]. After: (CI: after first UTI, 25.7% 12.5–43.3) second infection up 28.6% (CI:8.4–58.1) 3 or more apologize for inconvenience caused.
